DMK Enzyme Therapy is unlike any other skin treatment. Developed by renowned biochemist Danne Montague-King, this revolutionary treatment works by placing the skin in a controlled inflammatory state using natural plant-based enzymes. The result is a phenomenon called 'plasmatic effect' — a visible tightening and flushing of the skin as the treatment draws fresh oxygenated blood to the surface.
Rather than simply exfoliating the top layer of skin, DMK Enzyme Therapy targets the foundational function of the skin itself, rebuilding structure and restoring optimal cellular activity. It is considered one of the most comprehensive skin revision treatments available.
DMK Enzyme Therapy is suitable for all skin types and is particularly effective for clients dealing with acne, ageing, scarring, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and compromised skin. It is also highly regarded as a skin revision treatment after other procedures.
Your skin is first thoroughly cleansed and prepped. The DMK Enzyme Masque is then applied and left on the skin for up to 45 minutes, hardening as it works to stimulate deep circulatory activity, remove dead cell material, and flush toxins from the skin.
As the enzyme masque dries, you will notice a distinctive tightening and pulling sensation along with visible redness across the face — this is the plasmatic effect in action. Once removed, the skin is in a state of deep nourishment and accelerated healing.
Following DMK Enzyme Therapy, you may experience post-treatment redness for several hours. This is a normal sign that the treatment has been effective and will subside.
Avoid sun exposure and use a high-SPF sunscreen daily. Continue with your prescribed DMK home-care regime to reinforce and extend the results achieved in the clinic. Avoid swimming, saunas, and excessive heat for 24 hours post-treatment.
Phase 1
Skin is stabilised through calming inflammation and barrier function repair. Some technologies and methods include the Lutronic DermaV, the SDL Glass Skin Method, and controlled chemical support.
Phase 2
Targeted device-based treatments are clinically introduced, spaced and layered. Technologies such as the PicoSure Pro may be used for laser toning, pigment management, resurfacing, and texture improvement.
Phase 3
The focus shifts to refining skin tone, pore quality, and smoothness. This phase may involve the Lutronic LaseMD Ultra alongside SDL's depigmentation protocols.
Phase 4
Structured skin maintenance is designed to help sustain results and support skin long-term. This may include regenerative treatments, periodic laser toning, and hydrating chemical support.
