Polynucleotides are long-chain DNA fragments extracted from salmon using a highly purified process. They act as biological messengers that signal your fibroblast cells to produce collagen and elastin, repair damaged tissue, and rebuild the skin's structural matrix.
When injected intradermally, the polynucleotide fragments bind to receptors on fibroblasts and trigger production of extracellular matrix components. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. A topical numbing cream is applied and left for 20 to 30 minutes to ensure comfort throughout. Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for 48 hours prior where possible.
Rejuran is delivered via precise micro-injections into the dermis using a fine needle. Injections are placed at close intervals across the treatment area. Each session takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes including preparation. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain.
Some redness, minor swelling, and small pinpoint papules are normal immediately after, resolving within 24 to 48 hours. Avoid direct sun, strenuous exercise, and heat for 24 hours. SPF is essential in the days following.
A standard initial course consists of three to four sessions spaced three to four weeks apart. Full results are evaluated three months after the final session. Maintenance every six months sustains the biological repair benefits.
