The CO2 Laser (ECO2 Reset) is the cornerstone of SDL's most intensive skin correction Pathway. Building on the proven eCO2 ablative laser platform, the ECO2 Reset is designed as a full skin resurfacing programme that combines the power of ablative CO2 laser correction with a structured pre- and post-treatment support protocol.
This is not simply a laser treatment; it is a complete reset of the skin's surface, structure, and future trajectory, undertaken with the full support of your SDL dermal specialist team.
The ECO2 Reset Pathway is best suited to clients with significant skin ageing, advanced sun damage, moderate to severe acne scarring, deep wrinkling, or elastosis who are seeking the most meaningful and lasting correction possible. It is a commitment to transformation.
The ECO2 Reset follows a structured protocol. Pre-treatment preparation includes a lactic acid peel and Healite II session one week prior to the procedure to prepare the skin and ensure optimal readiness.
On the day, CO2 laser skin resurfacing is delivered across the full face, with aftercare applied in-clinic. Post-procedure Healite II recovery sessions are scheduled on day 3 and day 7 to support and accelerate healing.
The ablative CO2 laser beam systematically targets all skin layers, eliminating ageing and damaged cells and stimulating deep collagen remodelling throughout the dermal layers.
Allow for 5 to 7 days of social downtime. You can continue most activities but may not wish to attend work or social engagements as the skin will be red and flaky during recovery. Rest at home for at least the first 2 to 3 days.
Perform regular vinegar soaks and apply the post-procedure balm as instructed. After the first week, a new layer of skin will have formed. Some mild redness may persist for the first month.
Phase 1
Skin is stabilised through calming inflammation and barrier function repair. Some technologies and methods include the Lutronic DermaV, the SDL Glass Skin Method, and controlled chemical support.
Phase 2
Targeted device-based treatments are clinically introduced, spaced and layered. Technologies such as the PicoSure Pro may be used for laser toning, pigment management, resurfacing, and texture improvement.
Phase 3
The focus shifts to refining skin tone, pore quality, and smoothness. This phase may involve the Lutronic LaseMD Ultra alongside SDL's depigmentation protocols.
Phase 4
Structured skin maintenance is designed to help sustain results and support skin long-term. This may include regenerative treatments, periodic laser toning, and hydrating chemical support.
